Welcome to Psymbiosis
Where mind and body stop competing and start cooperating.
Psymbiosis was born from a simple observation: too often, success in one area of life often comes at the expense of another.
In nature, symbiosis describes how two organisms coexist. Sometimes that relationship is mutual, sometimes its parasitic (one benefits while the other suffers), and sometimes... both thrive.
I see the same pattern in mental health, fitness and performance. The body transforms, but the body image does not. The career thrives, but anxiety, higher self expectations and burnout increase. The mind struggles whilst the body pays the price.
Psymbiosis exists to change the relationship from parasitic to mutual through CBT therapy. Where progress does not cost you your peace, and where you can thrive and rise like a pheonix.
Hello, I’m Connor
I am a qualified psychotherapist and certified level 3 personal trainer, with over a decade of clinical practice.
I specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), focusing on the link between thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and physical sensations. I also draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, depending on what each person needs.
My clinical expertise includes a variety of areas, such as: Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Neurodivergence (ASD/ADHD), Eating Disorders, Body Dysmorphia, Muscle Dysmorphia, Perfectionism, Anger Management, Assertiveness Training, LGBTQIA+ Support
I founded Psymbiosis to bridge the gap between mental health and physical fitness. I kept seeing the same pattern: people transforming their bodies without resolving the distress causing them to change it. Psymbiosis is my answer to that gap, therapy and fitness working together, not against each other.

Client Experiences
"Connor actively listened and helped to tailor the sessions and strategies in real time around the internal and external factors that were being brought up in each session. It felt super supportive and I felt comfortable discussing all areas that helped us identify root causes and ways to heal or support them with positive thinking."
"I have better understanding and in turn control over my subconscious & also the fitness tools to keep on achieving my gym goals. Since finishing the sessions I am continuing to achieve weight loss and feel better about myself and the relationship I have with food and my body/self."
"Working with Connor over the last number of months has really helped me to be kinder to myself in all aspects of my life, from the gym, my self image, setting boundaries, in changing my approach to the gym from a perfectionist mindset to focusing more on the long term benefits of simply trying my best and allowing myself to make mistakes. He gave me the tools to help with anxiety around the gym and how to properly process those thoughts and feelings, whether that was to do with comparison to others or dealing with the process of returning after an injury."
